"This is ridiculous!" you exclaim. "No, this cannot be happening to me," you say over and over as you sink to the bathroom floor.
"Look, it's positive," your best friend whispers to you as she takes a look at the pregnancy test herself. "What are you going to do?"
As she speaks, all you know is her lips are moving, but you cannot hear a word she's saying. Your mind is miles and miles away. You wish you could combust, evaporate, disappear. This really is not something you had hoped for, but the test result confirmed it. You are pregnant.
